What you’ll learn
During your practical training you’ll learn how to:
- Recognise when someone is in cardiac arrest
- Call Triple Zero (000)
- Perform CPR on an adult
- Perform CPR on an infant
- Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Place a casualty into the recovery position where appropriate
- Respond confidently until emergency services arrive

Course delivery
Complete approximately one hour of online learning before attending a practical face-to-face session.

Training and assessment is delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.
Entry Requirements
Participants must have the physical ability to perform two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.

Assessment includes:
- Online theory questions
- Adult CPR demonstration
- Infant CPR demonstration
- Practical CPR scenarios
